hahaha, that dudes name is Blake....hes a friend of mine from sarasota...alot of people were asking about RWD civics a while ago, and it old everyone i knew a guy that had a RWD teggy...hes about to turbo charge it, unless he already has...

that guy is super nice, he is a racing instructor, he took me for a few laps in his new STI at Sebring, they guy is a REAL GOOD driver, he was passin up vettes, nsx's, s2ks, even charging the vipers...anyways, right now hes on the road, racing in the One Lap of America race

that car looks REAL familiar...its kinda tough though, there were probbly like 20 s2k's there that day, and they were all done right, not to mention the ferarri ENZO, and the gt class porche's...but i think i might of seen him...if you know him, ask him if he was there for the Chin Motorsports event, cause thats the one i was at

im thinkin about signin up and running the hatch there before i sell it

i got some pics tho of his car after the race, w/ the slicks still on it makin it look like a bubblebutt

and his ap1 front bumper is all scratched up now, he needs to either take it easy around those corners, or put stock bumper on when racing

yea that car was in atlanta this past weekend. it has a n/a GSR motor in it. and it also has the drivetrain from a honda crv in it and thats how it is rwd. those guys were real cool and had a nice setup. who ever filmed that vid i recorded the same one but i was just to the left of them......

its actually a type R motor

actually its not a type R motor...haha, i posted that right before i left for lunch, and it was buggin me on my whole lunch break....it is a gsr motor, i was thinkin of his old race car (EG with a b18c5)...anyways, the gsr motor is only making 110hp, he put turbo cams in there (in preperation for his turbo install) but once its all said and done, it should be crankin out serious power

yeah, im sure hes worried about what you think....especially since he has a brand new SPONSORED STI, a RWD teggy soon to be boosted, a EG with 5lug conversion and motor swap, and RHD civic type R just sitting in his shop

im not slamming him or anything. im not saying he is a bad guy. I (let me say again, I) just dont see the point. good for him and congrats on being a great driver and having te ability to do all this, dont get me wrong, but i dont see the point. thats just me, i didnt saw he should be worried, im just voicing my opinion, the whole reason for forums (that and help) btw, wow a 5lugged eg with swap, there is something new..... he could of spent that money on something better than a rwd integra. but if thats what he wants to do fine,let him do it. all im getting at is i dont see why people do some of the things they do....thats it.

i can understand what your saying...i dont know, to me its just pretty cool, because hes building Hondas different from everyone else...and you dont really see many EG's with the 5lug and a b18c5.....

same thing with a RWD teggy...and your right, there are better things to spend money on...take an STI for instance...i got to ride in it, GOOD LORD those are fast...he had some guy in a brand new Maserati come up to him after the race, and start some BS like "yeah, i heard you were pusing like 400 hp in there, is that why you passed me so easily"....and he was just like "nope, its still stock, and only $30,000"

the look on the Maserati guys face was priceless

haha well i understand what your saying and kinda understand why hes doing it. props to him for being able to that. and i LOVE sti's i got to drive one a couple weeks ago, i went up to to a guy at a mobil and asked if i could go for a ride in...then after 30 min i got to drive it. those are SICK cars, i love em.

heck yeah...especially for being stock, OH MY GOD...sooo fast...he has the full racing seats (talk about being snug!!) and a custom suspension...it was the first time id seen a suspension like his...i guess each individual wheel is controlled seperate electronically...i sat down, and the whole car changed, i was like WTF....im interested in seeing how he does in the One Lap race
