is it possible to swap the gears from the 6th gen into the 5th gen tranny. i was wondering this because i have both and the 6th gen has a broken casing and diff. the tranny on my 5th gen, the gears are super long. i could hit 100+ in 3rd gear... is that common? comments are more than welcome!!!

yeah it is possible and common as well. i think oc_civic has the s20 in his 6th gen.

i believe so... cause i want to take the 5th gear from i think its the ZC motor because its gear ratio is .771 versus 702 for an ex? i think there has to be modification for the ZC gear to go in... but i do beleive the other gears go right in.silver booolet said:could the gears of the 6th gen be able to fit in the 5th gen tranny housing??
