Hello! My name is Jerry and I just recently started this project a month ago. I super stoked with it and would love to hear inputs and suggestions on it as I go along. =)

So here its goes...About a month ago I picked up a completely stock 1999 Civic SI with 61k original miles. It was clean for the most part.

It needed the following

- New a/c compressor,
- Needs paint on the right side, but it isn't too bad,
- Missing kick panels
- No head unit
- Missing PS reservoir and belt
- Needed new spindles
- Right passenger door panel needed replacing
- Needed tweeters
- Rear Speakers dont work
- Needed front speaker covers

Shes in the shop right now getting worked on by Max Ramos at JJ's Performance of San Antonio.

Mods

- Custom 3" CAI w/AEM bypass filter & K&N Air Filter
- Custom 3" Exhaust
- RMF v2 megaphone header
- Skunk2 74mm Throttle body
- Skunk2 Ultra Series Street Intake Manifold
- Skunk 2 Pro 1 Cams
- Supertech Valve Springs w/ titanium retainers
- Cam Gears (can't remember the brand right now)
- Walboro 255 Fuel Pump
- VMS Fuel Pressure Regulator w/guage
- K-Tuned 410cc injectors
- K-Tuned Short Shifter
- Skunk 2 Shift Knob
- P28
- Custom tune on E85 and 93 on Neptune
- 7 inch touch screen Panasonic Head unit
- VMS Carbon Fiber Valve Cover dress up kit
- Custom Painted valve cover

My goal is to build a super reliable DD that will eventually run turbo in the next coming months.

So my mechanic hit me with a few pieces of bad news, not terrible tho. He found that one of the motor mounts were torn, and while installing my fuel pump a not so good looking fuel tank. The motor mount has already been swapped out, and the new fuel tank is going in today. We were suppose to dyno today, but with these minor setbacks we're looking at dynoing her Thursday. The valve cover was also being painted yesterday and should be done today.

I attached pics of the problems below

Bad motor mount

Glad that was only a minor setback and not a project-ruiner lol.

Let us know how it goes once it's on the dyno! :thumbs up

Thank you. Valve cover and gas tank were put back on today. We will be dynoing it either today or tomorrow. We will tuning it on e85 then tuning it on 93

Edit: I just recently found where all the builds go. Can we get an admin to move this thread to the build section?

Welcome to the forum! This is looking good so far. But, you may want to switch to a non-metallic shift knob before summer gets into full swing (or else keep a towel in the car). By the way, are you stationed at Lackland?
