My current turbo is being swapped out at the end of this week for a bigger one. To be exact its the 50 trim from bullseye 76 hot side ceramic coated. I was just wondering i noticed the stock z6 motor makes peak torque at 7000 but i think si's cluster have redline at like 7200 right? (not 100% sure). What my question here is with such a big turbo Im also still runing stock head, now what would be ok to rev out to (shift point). Stock cam, valves, everything in the head. The bottom end has Eagle H beam rods and Srp pistons built to 9:1 with a block guard. I would like to know so when i got to get a full boost tune on the new turbo i can keep it in mind. Any advice here would be apreciate it.

yea thats a mild build to me^^

to make your redline higher i think you have to rebuild your head correct? i think its the head that determines your redline.....so i would suggest building your head b4 u higher the redline......i would keep it at 7k and a revlimit at 7.2k

rebuild it with some springs/retainers and valves. since your in the head you might as well change the cam to.

but its your valve springs and connecting rod bolts that determine your rev limit (besides hp). you'll float a valve or stretch a rod bolt if you dont change 'em out.
