So I got my time booked off and I'll be heading back to my hometown for a 2 week vacation in May.
If any of you guys from the area want to kick it or whatever, cruise 8th and all that good stuff, lemme know.

Also, I need some good recommendations on auto detailing places. Sure I could get it done here before I leave, but I have a 1200 mile drive ahead of me and it wouldn't make much sense. And I could do some research for some places online, but I want to try somewhere that someone can vouch for so I know I won't be getting screwed. I don't mind higher priced places as long as they aren't gouging me because I've always believed in the "Get what you pay for" slogan.

I'll be living in S'toon again in April. I'm not a huge fan of 8th since it's mostly 16 year olds with nothing better to do. I spend most of my time at SIR instead. I do hit 8th once in a while, but it's usually to hit up Boston Pizza after a race. Sometimes if I know a few guys who are out I'll stop and talk to them or put in a lap. I'm not to sure about detailing places. I'll pm you a forum you can ask about them at.

I've only been to the BP on 8th once, we usually go to 51st instead.

The running laps is usually all we do for an hour or two on a fri/sat to kill time after dark, gather in either the wholesale or bonanza parking lots and if RM Motorsport is still open, go over for a bubble tea.

Never been to SiR while I was up there, might check it out while I'm back for vacation, definately start going when I move back. Engine-wise, my car is stock except for my AEM V2 so I probably won't be racing until that changes.

I did some searching and I've found a few places:

AutoSalon - Looks the most professional I suppose, prices tend to be on the high side, but you pay for quality, right?
Collision Plus Autobody - Couldn't find any prices but they had some half-decent before/after pictures.
Glenwood - Fairly cheap, decent pictures. Seems like a family-owned business.

I know for a fact Collision Plus does good work. Glenwood is close to my house, and I actually didn't know they do detailing there. Not sure about AutoSalon. Judging by thier name they should be good, but as with anything in Saskatoon you don't necessarily get what you pay for.
