Scraping - Quick question

Hey I am dropped on Tein H-Tech springs and I hear/feel some scraping when entering/exiting driveways from the tires rubbing on the inside of the wheel well. I was wondering if installing a sway bar would solve this problem.

I have a front upper strut bar but that's a passive component. Just wondering if installing a sway bar would reduce body roll at slow speeds when entering/exiting driveways, etc. I just need to reduce it a bit in order to avoid the scraping. (I have winter tires on now 185/65/15 so they are a bit high profile but I would like to avoid this scraping regardless).

Any info would be great. Thanks!

knock it in where you can tell where tire is scraping

It's the tire scraping on the plastic under the wheel well and also on a bit on the inside chassis or whatever you call that (I can see how some of the dirt is rubbed off where the tire scrapes and I can see the blue paint).

I have no problems with my summer wheels (lower profile tires) but it's annoying to be moving so slow up/down driveways and still scraping. I need some way to reduce the minimal body roll that occurs when going up/down at an angle.

Would a front sway bar fix this issue?

Take your turn then make sure the wheels are straight through the dips and turns...

Get your fenders rolled. Or get a camber kit n tuck the wheels in more. So it doesn't scrape. My domani did the same thing when I lowered it.

I wouldn't even worry about it, if it only occurs going in and out of driveways. Hell, summer is only a month away

This is the ONLY correct answer in the thread. Rolling fenders won't do anything b/c he is rubbing on the plastic lining.

Okay, thanks for input. I'll just drive it how it is. I've been on FF type1s even lower than I am currently but didnt have this problem because I had 14" wheels, now with the suspension change and bigger profile tires I guess theres not much that I can do..

Thanks.

check the backplate from where you put it in? i had my strut/shock put in and it started scraping like metal on metal. it ended up being the backplate

This is definitely the tires so my original wuestion was whether I could fix this problem with a sway bar (minimize the body flex) but I'm putting on my summer wheels soon so I'll be okay until November :P
