Scratch free clear.

Rattlecanning fenders, when it came to clear i used rustoleum clear coat. I have had this problem with all the can clear coats ive used. i spray, wetsand then buff. ive waited about a week and it looks good but its too sensitive, so sensitive that if i ran my nail slightly over it itll mark. Is it just because its out a can or am i missing a step?

I've never had this issue. Then again, it's on silver so it can't be seen.

If you want a decent clear for a can you need to buy a 2k rattle can. 2k has a hardener in it.
