it should be bolt on, you could go to the dealership and spend full price or go to the junk yard and look for one that still works and not pay too much

honda seatbelt are lifetime warranty, if you take it to a dealer they will fix it at no charge, they'll basically replace the whole seatbelt assembly that's not working properly, because it's a safety issue.

bullshit ... those sons of bitches wouldnt replace my automatic seatbelts in my 91 civic after the drivers side stopped working, i went to both concord honda and fairfield honda in california ... i even called honda of america on it and they tried to say it was my fault for "abusing" the seatbelt .... and i was like if these pieces of s**t are so great then why did they STOP putting them in cars in 93?

here's a big secret, if a dealer tells you something like that, well it's because they do want your business, why well that's up to whatever stupid ass reason they make up, and sometimes the tech will not work on some vehicles if they don't fell as though they are getting paid good enough for it, and i see that all the time, if you call honda customer care you can make a complaint against those dealer, and you'll also find out that honda does warranty seat belts, honda is one of the few companies that does that with seatbelts.
