I am trying to disconnect the seatbelt chime on my 1995 honda civic hatchback. I couldn't believe the hype I got when asking how to do this elsewhere, and given no solid answers. Let me start off by saying... YES I DO WEAR MY SEATBELT. I simply like to start the car, warm it up, put some music on, put my seatbelt on, then drive. I don't like having to listen to the chime in the meantime.
Under the driver seat there are two wires. A black wire and a red/blue wire. I disconnected those and got rid of the chime. I am simply trying to make sure neither of those are connected to the airbag because I am NOT trying to disable the airbag.
So having undone the black and red/blue wires under the driver seat to get rid of the chime, I haven't disabled the airbag (or anything else for that matter), correct?
