when i turn off my car completely my infinty basslink sub stays on ( its always done this it said it would in the owners manual) but it puts out a huge ass basswave that vibraes the hell out of my car. it only happens when everything is plugge in...when i take away power or ground (obv) it stops and when i take away the lead to the rear speakers signals it turns off. i disconnected and reconnected averything and it stopped, until i closed my trunk then it did it again and stops when i open my trunk. i closed my trunk opened my hood and pulled the fuse for my power wire a and put it back in closed the hood and all was fixed. im not sure what i did to fix this but usually when i tured the accesory on and off it would stop the feedback. anyhelp is apprecitated

change the remote turn on lead to accessory....i dont know if it makes a difference if you used the remote turn on or the power antennae lead on the back of the deck...(depends on the deck)...maybe the remote turn on for the amp is more that the deck puts out (amperage wise)...

but other than that the sub works correctly?

(anyone esle got any ideas?)

do you have rcas ran to the basslink or are you using the high level inputs.

If you are it sounds like to me you tapped a rear trunk light wire instead of a speaker lead

yeah everything works fine. it happened again and i couldnt get it to stop so i just pulled the fuse on the power wire.
it is a highlevel input and i know for a fact its a speaker lead because they are all aftermarket and i put it all in myself. it just started doing this and not stopping today (i just put in a new alternator). it was fine before today

try disconnecting either the left or right side of the high level inputs...one side at a time...maybe snoopy is right...maybe you grabbed a wrong wire...dunno...let us know if you figure it out...

its you ground your ground isnt solid causing it to send stupid bass signals to your amp so re-do the groung make sure if your drilling into your fram to chisle and sand down the paint til theres nothing but metal. id also recomend putting a kill switch in the can so you amp dosnt stay on wen your car is off

thats what the remote turn on wire is for...putting a kill switch on it only puts a band-aid on the problem...

but like he said...check and/or reground it...(if you didnt do this already)
