well, it all depends on the shiftlight..
Do you have a swap in your DX, or still OG motor..?
A shiftlight requires something to activate it. Some have this mechanism built-in to it, others dont.
Is it hard to install? Yes and no.. Yes, depending on where you mount it. No, depending on where you mount it. Wiring is easy, though.. ground, 12V switched, tachwire, and that's about it.
I honestly know of noone with a shiftlight in their Honda, 'cept for an occasional ricer or two, or the avid (serious) racer.. It's more of a Ricer thing in a daily driver, but it's all about what you want.

And I know it does ''Wannabe Riiiacer'', but I already have the civic that smoke the more in town, and the one that make more noise. So a little less or a little more.
