Shifting Early?

Not to long ago, I put a new auto trans. in my 92 ex and ever since i changed it, it has shifted at 6000 instead of 7200. It is really starting to annoy me and i dont know why this is happening. I'm 90% sure that the new trans. is from a d16 and not a d15. So far i have swaped the solonoids, changed the oil and put restore in there (this happened w/ the old trans & restore fixed it), and changed the trans oil but it still doesn't work. PLEASE HELP ME! This is so frustrating, Thanks.

damn that sux! Does your car have Sport shift?? I might be you hafta get a Puter from a D16 to properly support a tranny from a D16, But im not a expert on this subject, Just a thought though

are you using a proper friction modifier in your tranny fluid?

i unpulged the battery overnight hopefully thinking that would clear the codes it might have but it didn't work. i'm pretty sure that i'm using the right stuff. It was supposed to have Mercron II i believe but i heard it was replaced with Mercron III. I talked to my auto class teacher and we did a diagnosis check and it came up clear. he told me to adjust the shift cable linkage. it seems to help but not much. I know i have the d16 ecu b/c vtec works.
