Ok so I bought this lump of metal called the D15B7 off a friend since I needed a few parts off it. Now that its sitting in my garage I thought of sending the rods out to get them shot peened, and running a turbo on the engine (I have most of a home-made kit that was supposed to go on my car but reasons are leading me not too). My question to you guys...does anyone know of a shop they have used to shot peen rods before? I was unable to find a local one, and I know of a "tuner" shop (as they call themselves) around me but that place blows...hardcore.
Either that or does anyone know if they make aftermarket rods for the d15? I know 1 company that does, but its like 700 per set...and for that I could just save a bit more and get a swap.
