well i was on craigslist this morning and found a 1993 civic sedan 150,000 miles clean body paint starting fade but runs but he says something about the valves needing adjustment everything for $700 b/c the guy needs to pay off some loans or something should i go for it or not

To adjust valves, you will need a flat head screw driver, 10mm combination wrench, a set of feeler gauges and about 20 minutes.

If you have the cash to drop, DO IT. since it runs you can flip it for $1000 easy if you wanted to. Or if it ha a bigger issue than you thought, you can just part it out. or Project car?
