Found this civic on craigslist my gsr got stolen so looking for a new project just wondering what you guys thought about this hatch. The seller can't tell me how many miles are on the engine claims he bought it that way but he did say the body has about 130,xxx on it and it is his dd. The fact that he doesn't know the car that well scares me so please tell me what you think because I need a car asap thanks in advance.

Wonder if he'd take $2500? Lulz

All the wires scattered across the bay would throw a few flags up for me. Maybe shotty work?

Great deal if it was built solid.

Didn't think of that that's a great observation I've never had a swapped civic before so I'm not so sure what all I need to be looking for that might cause problems in the near future

^ agre swap seems kind of half assed unless he has recipts from a reputable shop proving all the work done the right way.

Ok thanks guys I'll def start asking those questions
test drive it man, and look at the engine bay really really closely.

inspect the wiring and connectors
ask if its OBD2 like it should
Jump the service connector to see if there's any reason why the Check engine light should or will turn on soon.
Check if the wiring harness has been modified, and HOW its been modified.

Just by looking at it, it looks good. Wiring in the engine bay looks normal.
