Si Conversion

I searched through the forums and didnt fnd anything that answered my qeustions completely so here they are. I am a noob when it comes to the 6th gen Civic. I found a hella good deal on a 97 EX Coupe and I was wondering what all i would need to convert it to the 99-00 Si ( besides motor for now). And how much would it cost? Thanks alot.8)

you need:
Bumper
hood
headlights
grill
and i dont think it would all hook up right so u would need to custiomize
so it would be a lot

yeah, you'd also have to buy the fenders, because they have a slightly different shate than the 96-98. and also the Si front lip, and the red/white tail lights, plus the Si rims, if you were going for a complete conversion.

If the point of the conversion is to have a faster car, not nesecarily an SI, get a different engine. LS/VTEC turbo, turbo b18b, or all motor b18c1/5. I would save the bodywork for laters and get a b18c to turbo at a later date. Just my .02

no joke. i wish i started engine instead of body. but i already put over a grand into the exterior so im just going to save for now.

ya i got a 96 ex. i did the back, i got a Si rear bumper and Si tail lights. I kept the front stock except for a type R grill and a soon to come mugen lip.

Your also gonna need the decal DOHC VTEC and a electric blue paint job

yeah! Si is not the best thing, a Ex with a B18C5 is much cooler and faster

u forgot radiator support otherwise the hood is not gonna close perfect

Hey... what about Si suspension? What's the diff between the Si suspension and the EX?

The only thing I know for sure is the rear 13mm sway bar. What about the spring rates and damper rates?
