Ok doods,
First, to give you guys an idea of what I was working with, here's a pic of my interior a a year ago or so. It's been a slow process of getting the peices together to switch it out, but, it is finally done. With some patience, and a lot of help from my good frined Dusty, we got it done last night.
I wrapped the doors inserts, the back set armrests, the system in the trunk, and the rear deck with a velour black. I also made a dash mat in the same fabric, which isn't in the pics.
I got the CTR shift boot, a matching e-brake and armrest cover. I also got the JDM EG wheel. I just finally got the carpet in, and put the 00 Si seats in their new (older) home.

Whew! glad it's done!

BTW, the interior is color matched to the Honda DH-538 Frost white, no ghetto spray paint here!

Here's what I was working with! Yuck! OMG, I am so sorry, I know I am going to hell for doing this to a Honda! WHere's the ricer police when you need em! I'm guilty!

Starting in, already had the JDM wheel, and panels done.

Stripped!

Fighting to get the new molded carpet it!

And finally! Backseats! Yay!

And front seats! Yay!

Getting better but if you're trying to un-rice the interior you've still got a long way to go. Not a fan of 6th gen seats but they do look better. I suggest getting some buckets. :thumbs up

Actually buckets are racing seats that do not recline. Si seats don't hug like Teg, RSX, Sol, or even CRX seats.

HAHHAAHH, thats the funniest thing i've read online tonight

i have 00Si seats (obviously in my 00Si) and they are far from anything "bucket" like .. i sold em off to a friend and got some 98GSR seats, now those are 5x more "bucket" then 00Si seats

thanks for clearing that up dood. I considered getting the seats you listed however. My friends integra seats hug more, they were mconsiderbably stiffer than the SI's I got. (They weren't gsr seats however, I don't know if there is a difference)
Del Sol seats! Ugh! I would not pay to put those seats in my car, I would pay to take them out! I sit in my seats...I want them comfortable. Del sol seats are not comfortable for long periods of time.
First off, my car is a DAILY DRIVER...I like comfort...I drive a lot, I like to be comfortable when I drive for a few hours.
To get to the Phoenix alone is over a two hour drive from where I live....racing seats are just not practical for my purposes.
And RSX seats don't bolt up in the least sense.
CRX seats are old.

And why is having seats that DON'T recline a benefit?
sigh....
So, I have SI's.

well, the stuff we did in the pics took almost four hours...it was a lot of work and a lot of little details that took the most amount of time. No half assin here, we did it right! =)

I find my sol seats more comfortable than the EX seats I had. Those gave me a major back ache and placed my legs to close to the wheel. My Sol seats are IMO better than my girls Corbeau TRS when it comes to ass sinkin but her side boulsters are the only part I envy. Overall the Si seats are still nice and I think they are still an improvement compared to any 5th gen seat.

Ass sinkin'...Lol!
Yeah, seats are entirely a personaly preferance, I agree. My Ex seats sucked too. The Si seats drop nicely to get that ass sinkage, but I like em cuz they are friendly to my back. I wrecked my CR125 and dislocated three vertabrae a few years ago, so these are working out good so far. More side support on the Si's would be nice! I would def go Del SOl seats inside of racing seats though, if I was making my car more of an autocrosser or something.

I know dood, it was an embarrasement! Well, I'm looking for a black dash, I don't think the civic's ever had a nreally dark one. I think the integra's had a black one, but, I dunno if it is the same dark grey as the civics had. Not sure about making it fit though, but it would be sick! Black door panels would be pimp too, but, same prob with the colors.
sigh....

No way dood...I would rather refer to it as the dericerization of my car. I feel the looks, performance is from my culmination of refining my taste.
The only thing JDM on my car is the wheel and the tails. Which, I got the wheel because it was black, better looking than the USDM wheel I had on it, it was cheaper than a aftermarket wheel, and did I mention it was BLACK! The tails I got super cheap, I would have got USDM's, I didn't care, I just wanted an OEM tail light for cheap so I could use them as my frankenstein for the solid reds. I couldn't really care any less about the JDM lame ass fad...
My car is clean now, and fully functional with the nitroused LsVTEC under the hood, so I like it.
I guess simply, my taste just changed. Blue just isn't my thing anymore, I like the black white better...I dunno why. And the interior is still anything BUT JDM. It is what it is...a experiment gone bad! LOL!
