Si Lip on 96-98 EK

Well, i've been doing some thinking... and a OEM 98 front lip is hard to come by.. the type-r is too aggressive as is the mugen. So pretty much your left with that slim OEM front lip on the EKs which also happens to be hard to find. That leads me to what im trying to accomplish; modifying a Si lip to fit a 98 bumper.

Okay, so heres what i need to know.

What are the differences between the 1996-1998 and 1999-2000 front bumper? (specifically the bottom; width and curve differences)

Has this been tried before?

And since i know how you guys love pictures here is my car

Most likely won't look good, get an SiR lip if you really want one.

all i needed to know was some measurements on 98/99 front bumper and a few specs on the 99 si lip

You seem to have a lot of misplaced expectations. You are on a forum that responds a certain way to certain questions. Such as trying to talk someone out of putting the "wrong" lip on their car. It actually shows concern for you when someone or everyone tries to save you from humiliation.

You've called out Destroy for no reason. He hasn't even posted in this thread and you've called him stupid. This is in very poor taste on your part. He's actually quite intelligent and very knowledgeable. I don't think you can base somebody's IQ off of the quotes they find entertaining or the time they spend looking @ pictures.

That being said, the siR lip is my favorite and looks awesome on the 96-98 front end. That is why I suggested it.

And....my post was suggesting what? That you get off your ass, hit up eBay, and search, YES, search, for a Si style lip for 96-98. You like that style lip. Thats fine. But why make something out of nothing? Why try and go through all the trouble to make a 99-00 lip fit a 96-98 bumper, when SOMEONE ALREADY MAKES ONE THAT DOES!!!

i dont doubt that many of you COULD help me, mostly due to the fact that the information im looking for is based upon being around honda parts and not actual intelligence. which is why i seem so shocked that yall cant deliver.

Your asking for something that none of us care to do. Your making more work for yourself by trying to make a 99-00 lip fit on a 96-98 bumper. What needs to be done to make it fit? Well obviously we dont know. Heres an intelligent idea for you. Try it yourself. Figure it out on your own. Then you'll realize why your giving yourself such a hard time. It isnt a common thing to do for a reason.
