Lately I been thinking of ways I could make money locally or whatever to feed my Civic addiction...
I have a job but it seems as if I only work to survive , pay bills and not get any time or cash to spend on my car?

All these young kids around my area got nice cars & you'd look at them and think , how the hell these kids get theyre money to do s**t like that?

I was thinking of making speaker boxes and stuff like that just to generate some kinda income?

Any one out there got any other ideas that you do or know of people who do things on the side to make cash please guys no stupid answers please. thanks.

Right on man , thanks for the insight.

I just have a hard time finding something to do really, for 1 I don't have much hobbies & 2 cause there is so much people out there doing something similar & I dont wanna seem like Im trying to bite anyones idea or anything.

Building my car up seems to be all I care about lately and damn just so time and money consuming. hehe

i powdercoat and paint rims. I dont have a job and i make 300-600 a week on it. Powdercoat 200 cuz its a pain in the ass and just the spray paint with alot of prep 100, It's a great deal for all 4 and done in under a day, No shops can beat it because its 150 PER RIM at a shop. 30 bucks for the s**t, 70 for you to do the work, takes about 2-3 hours. Very easy, I'm in college and cant get a full-time job so thats what i do.

Do side work. As long as you're devoted and do a good job, you can make good money off any side jobs that require physical labor that no one these days wants to do. Landscaping, tree removal, tiling, welding, electrical work, etc. Bartenders and waiters bank $$$ too. As long as you work for a place that gets good business. I know people that walk away with over $200 in tips a night. But remember you're also probably going to be busy as f**k running around like a chicken with your head cut off.

You can also sell yourself on the street corner.

idk about the selling stuff from yardsales idea lol.

i kinda have the same mentality. i buy used car parts, especially jdm parts thinking i can turn around and profit on them. i just end up with what looks like a damn junk yard in my back yard and never sell s**t. its all about to go to the dump. kinda sad to see all these super sought after parts go to the dump, but nobody is buying s**t anymore and it sucks.

definitely makes it hard to get extra cash lol

Ahh... I Hear you.
Yeah, I'm kinda new on the Civic Scene, So , I was kinda hesitant about buying and selling used car parts, only because, i don't know the actual worth of the items.

But I have thought of this SOOO many times! you have no idea.

Its great to hear feedback from someone who has actually tried it.

figure out what you are good at and how you may provide people service for it. post in craigsit. slang civic parts, drugs, offer computer services, tutor math or whatever you are good at, hussle people, steal car parts and sell them, have yard sales, bootleg dvd and sell them in stores, look for cans and recycle them for cash, stand in the corner and ask for money, buy games from swatmeet and sell them to gamestop, do mechanical work and charge money, get another job, open a small store in a swatmeet, provide electrical service installing car alarms, you could learn how to install kill switches and charge money for it, make something and sell them in ebay, invent something, make up a website and provide service of some sort.......possibilities are endless.......
