side mirrors w/LED turn signal wiring??? (98 ex 4dr)

I just purchased a set of M3 style side mirrors with turn signals for my 98 Civic EX 4dr and need help wiring them to the turn signals. Should I splice it in at the steering column or under the hood to the actual turn signals in the headlamp assy.? If I splice it in at the column can someone help me locate which wires (with pix plz) to use? Thank you.

Tap the left mirror turn signal into the Grn/Red wire near the turn signal switch and the right mirror turn signal into Grn/Yel wire near the turn signal switch.
