Single LED Wedge Base Bulbs?

anyone ever used these before?
Single LED Wedge Base Bulbs
to change there gauge cluster lights..
cuz poele said if u use regular LED>.they will eave "hot spots"..but what about these?

oh no those would be very dim. the light is so spread out, I'm surprised you even see any light haha. With the gauge cluster, you will always have hot spots unless you actually open up the cluster and position leds in a circle around each dial. Just replacing the bulbs might work if you use very bright ones and then put paper behind the gauge where the hot spots are to block some light and make it look as dim as other areas.
