Skunk2 intake manifold

Can anyone with the skunk2 intake manifold installed, tell me how much power is gained. I looked around and saw o turbo magazines 200 whp integra: they installed it on the integ. and lost power compaired to the stock si manifold they had on it before. The skunk2 manifold only added more power in the 9000 rpm range. So can anyone tell me if anything is gained by swaping my stock B16 intake manifold with the skunk2 manifold? And i am not going past 8 grand.

personally i would buy an aebs mani, the skank mani is damn near the itr one. your prolly not gonna feel a hole lot of power, prolly none at all. it helps the flow of air, might wanna send out your intake manifold that you got now and get it pnp. personaly i dont see you gaining any thing if you got stock cams in might even loose somthing.

I got the ITR manifold but i also got ITR cams but either way it did make a differance. Thats wierd taht a turbod car lost power by adding a bigger manifold never heard of that before.

I spoke with a guy at a shop earlier today, and he said the same thing. He said they're great if you're engine is fully built, but can take away power if you're anything but fully built.

I have the skunk2 mani on my B16 N/A setup. The size is definetly bigger than stock and ITR. I wouldn't be able to tell you about hp gain cause I had other upgrades put in at the same time. I have not dynoed my car so don't know. My technician really recommend it and he has it on his 10sec 3 door.

I dont think they were talkign about itr or skunk2 manifold they are not going ot give you a whole lot more air flow, and will add hp fully built or not. Now if you get a huge victor X or something type manifold hten you will lose power because there is to much air going in and it bogs the motor out. But putting an ITR-skunk2 will not take power away. At least i have never heard of that before.

Are you saying hte skunk2 is bigger then the ITR, i think they are almost exactly the same size considering skunk2 just copyed the ITR manifold and put there name on it.

kind of off topic... but is it true that if i were to put a skunk 2 intake manifold and get the greddy turbo the blue box tuning system would be off because its now a modded engine and the blue box is preset to the stock engine setup?
