I don't know which model exactly but I have a basic DEI Python alarm. Nothing fancy but does the job for my area. Anyway recently I noticed my corner lights don't flash when arming/disarming it like it used to. It still chirps and the alarm does work. Any ideas?

have u check the fuses yet? i think theres like 3 fuses connected with the main 16 pin wire harness on the brain of the alarm. one of the fuses should be for the flashing parking light. i think its a red 10 fuse.

never thought of that. Since it was professionally installed I've never looked at all the wiring. I'll check that out, thanks

alright so I just went outside to check on it and I don't know where the harness is. Before I start taking my dash apart do you know where it's normally located?

take it back to the shop that installed it. If you dont know what you are doing dont mess with it

I can manage to check a fuse I just need to find it. I can easily take apart my dash (done it enough times) but I'd rather not if I don't have to. Besides my ex-fiances dad put it in at his shop. We're not on good terms so going back there won't happen.

In most cases its around the steering column area. But if its too hard to reach or you have to tear your dash apart just take it back and they should fix it for free since its professionally installed

You should have to pull the bottom of the dash down to get to it. You should be able to find it from there, usually a black box that will probably be zip tied up somewhere. It should have a few harnesses comming out of it.

are u able to locate the brain of the alarm? when u remove the panel under your steering column look around for wires that may not look like its honda or wrap by honda. when u locate the brain just look at the wires from the 16 pin harness that is connected on the alarm. there should be a couple of fuses attached to the wires. most of the time installers wrap the wires with tape so feel around for a fuse and fuse holder is about 1"x1" in dimension so u probably would feel it if its wrap under tape. a simple fuse replacement does not take a professional shop to do..
