Small knocking nois

I have a 93 Civic LX sedan and suddenly everytime I accelerate from a dead stop I hear a small knock in the front of the car...hopefully it isn't anything serious but some advice on what it could be will be much appreciated thanks

Have you checked the ignition timing? You may have spark knock.

Rod bearings... Driveshaft joints (The knocking is more intense while turning), and the timing as RonJ said. Were does it seem like the knocking is coming from, the inside of the engine? The suspension? Try having someone driving while you listen to it from the outside. i just had a driveshaft joint almost crack on me
