Well... i play sports and workout alot and my car has started to smell... kinda musty and gross, was wondering what kinda air fresheners you guys suggest, i have febreeze auto, but it stays smelling that way for oh. about a day at MAX. so i was wondering if you guys have any nifty suggestions on products or something for an air freshener not just a tree hanging from my rear view, something that looks cool / has purpose? I dunno just curious whats out there.

i bought these things at advance, their airfreshaners or w/e that u put inside your air vents, i just turn my fan on and it blows out nice new car smell...lol works wonders cuz i leave my gym clothes and when i work out in the back for weeks at a time
hahaha, my car has definitely been used as a locker room before, just don't keep anything wet in there and if you have to put it in the trunk. Air fresheners are never really cool looking in my opinion, or good smelling either for that matter. Just use Febreeze and steam clean it if you get a chance.
you have to get "tiny balls" they are an air freshener/ smell attracter. they apparently are meant to pull the smoke smell out of your car from smoking cigarettes. they are little blue balls, called tiny balls. but you can probably only get them online or at a crazy car store. blue is the best

I have used those "new car smell" tree's for years, they smell great, but nothing beats the REAL new car scent

Just throwing in a freshener is not enough. You wouldn't work out and then go out on a first date with some girl after just splashing on some Brut. It'll end up with the P-Funk and not the Bootsie Collins variety either. We are talking Perfume Funk
When it is warm and dry again, get a bucket of hot water, a nice stiff upholstery brush, a wet-dry vac, and a container of good carpet cleaner. (I prefer Simple Green carpet cleaner, Zep has a nice clean smell too.) Scrub, vac, repeat as necessary. Spend the rest of the day out at the park with your friends with your car parked nearby with the windows down (where you or your bro's can see it all the effin time) to dry.
When you work out, throw a clean towel washed in Downy with FeBreeze on the driver's seat. (that stuff smells awesome...I actually like going into the utility room and not just because it's on the way to the garage 8) ) You wouldn't leave the machines at the gym all covered in your sweat would you? Why should your whip be any different
Vent air fresheners and/or a tote locker... or roof rack... i used to keep my shoes on the roof rack in the summer cause they smelled so bad
I smoke like a fiend on my weekend roadtrips and the car can start smelling pretty funky after a while (keep in mind, my '06 lost its "new car smell" in about a week or two). i tried a few different methods...febrese, the gel in a can, and even some different hanging air fresheners. the absolute BEST are the MEDO vent clip air fresheners. I have one on the driver's air vent and one on the passenger air vent and now you can't even tell its a smoker's car
