bad seal in the turbo, bad head gasket, bad piston rings, bad valve seals. how many miles were on the b16 before you turboed it. did you rebuild?? a turbo can kill stuff quick if not done right

white smoke sounds like it could be a head gasket, blue is usually burning oil,

white smoke is running too rich black smoke is running too lean BLUE smoke is burning oil. white s**t in coolant and overheating is blown headgasket...get a compression test..if everything comes out good you can scratch bad rings off the list. odds are the seals on the turbo are leaking oil into the exhaust side. Check for oil in your charge pipes. Check for oil in the intercooler. If there is no oil there then rule out blown seals. Could be valve seals but then your spark plugs would be drinched in oil. Need more info than "my car smokes"

Thanks for replying guys. Well the motor wasnt built its just a stock block with type r valve train. At idle little white smoke comes out of the exhaust but when its reved a cloud of white smoke comes out. If its running too rich.. How do i adjust the fuel? and if the Turbo seals are bad.. am i better of buying a new snail? Head Gasket is prolly good because there is no coolant and oil mixture in the motor.

get a B&M fuel pressute gauge so you can see what the fuel pressure is..then if its too high just buy a fuel pressure regulator and turn it down a little...your psi at idle with vacuum line disconnected from the regulator should be around 42-45 psi. Getting your turbo rebuilt isnt too expensive if you have a place locally that can do it. If not go to majesticturbo.com. they rebuild turbos but youll have to send it to waco, tx.

having oil on the spark plug could be an early sign of blow back which is when the piston rings go bad and oil slips through the piston rings and into the combustion chamber........how much boost are you pushing with the turbo???....is it in the stock motor with no build up for the turbo???
