well it works for me anyways it is an Car Stereo Line Out Converter
For use when installing amplifiers and equalizers when radio does not have RCA output jack
Adjustable output: Matches radio output to amplifier input
Fully adjustable from 0 to 1-volt, both channels, RCA connector pre-amp level

what do u guys think about it
and would i have to still take out my OEM deck to use it

youd have to take it out to install it. but you dont need it if your going to get a new deck. all new decks have built in pre-outs

i have to wait a while to buy a new deck need to save up more money. will it still sound good with this convetor? Because my OEM deck is a pretty good i think for the 03

line converters major downfall is sound quality. I say just wait until you get a new deck. Plus then you only have to take it all apart once..

i think im gonna get a profesioal to instal my stuff because i heard for my car its really hard to take out the deck

i dont think you would need it anyway, im bought one when i installed my subs with stock head unit, and i didnt even use it. they worked like a dream :what:

Just save your money and get a deck to go with the subs... its going to be a pain to install it twice.
