some 12 volt experience and LOTS of Windows experience would be preferred.

Yeah, Microsoft Windows.

The unit itself is like installing a car alarm with a starter cut out. Not too terribly difficult on most cars. And you do get to poke around in some cool cars. I've got an $80,000 Phaeton, two 911 turbos, a M Roadster, Jaguar XJR, M3s... that come to my shop every month. Houston shop has a Rolls Royce and a Bentley. But you will need to have good computer skills to program, download, and maintain the units as well as experience with Outlook and other Windows based stuff to perform the job tasks
