Well there's also my Motegi FF7's but they're pretty ugly. Bought em used for about $100. The guy did a really bad job trying to paint them red. Gonna have to strip the paint and do some sanding. Especially on the lip of one of em...Need some tires too.
Got the H-Brace and C-Pillar on. Barely any time to do the other ones. Hopefully soon.

This was right after the H-Brace install at a bud's garage.

Oh and anybody know how to adjust the engine damper?As in what it should be set to?

oh s**t.. i wish you had talked to me about all the stuff you were getting..im gonna be completely real with you and hold nothing back.

1. Engine damper- good choice its definatly going to help make you shifts feel stronger as in it wont feel sloppy when you go from 1st to 2nd. Try to preload the damper so when you tighten the engine mount bolts it pulls firm..Not too hard but enough so that b***h isnt moving anywhere

2. c pillar.- bad choice honestly all its really going to do is make you car look modded.. im just being honest i went through a s**t load of research trying to find answers and the general answer is "i didnt feel s**t" . And that was with the expensive ones like the 200 buck em-racing bars. If you like it , hey thats what your supposed to do put s**t you like on the car. But if you got it cause you wanna improve times or have the car feel better then you wasted your money

3. upper rear strut bar- bad choice.. only cause i really do hate the design of the nrg strut bar.. You want the strut towers to have as little movement as possible and the non one piece strut bars no matter how you look at it just allow for more movement.. There is no denying that. I was even semi unhappy with the password one piece design cause it was a little flexible. Look into the mugen bar and even the replica mugen bars.. The are solid as s**t and will keep the towers in place as best as a strut bar can.

4 h brace- good/bad choice. I mean i did have the h brace but then again i am really low and was asking for trouble. Just keep this in mind...They are directly connected to two of the most critical parts of your forward suspension. The control arm joints. It will limit there flex and it will reduce wheel hop... But think about it.. the second you hit it, its gonna throw off your alignment.. yep and if you hit it like i hit it, its gonna put your toe angle wayyyy out.. You might not have to worry about it too much since you look as though you are pretty stock height but it drags anything you roll over, and have fun changing your oil too cause you cant put your hand around it really to get to that oil filter.. At least not me.. I made sure i changed my oil right before i put it on.. To be on the safe side get some higher spring rates to limit your cars bounceing and reduce the chance of scraping the h brace.

5. Si sway bar.- good choice. People bad mouth the si sway bar but i say f**k them.. You can definatly feel the difference around town.. This bar is perfect for daily driving and dipping through traffic yada yada yada. I felt the difference around town and even at the track. Some may ask why did i get a 22 mm and get rid of a 13 mm if the si bar is so good. You simply cannot take advantage of a 22mm sway bar on the street unless you are acting like a complete a*****e... seriously.. the si bar can handle what you do on the street but it may lack on the track. And street looks like what you are going for.

6. Tokico shocks - eh good/ bad choice Im sure you are on a tight budget looking at the mods you bought. So im not going to knock the tokico shocks.. They will do their job

Im not sure how much you are into suspension but if you are anything like me you will be kicking yourself later on just like i did cause i cheaped out.. And more than likely im poorer/ cheaper than you but there is just no way around buying more expensive stuff when doing good suspension work.

^^^ good to know man. I didn't know you had that many problems with the H brace. Did you end up getting that three point front upper strut setup that password sells? It looks like its prolly one of the most solid ones out there. I think I've only seen a few other decent ones like that with the three point setup. That would be a nice bit to add to my "hopeful" list.

Also, if I were you I would think about maybe getting a lower rear brace since your adding the sway. I don't think that you should have any tear out issues but it seems like a good general investment with suspension pieces.

great write up blackhope... definitly not getting an H brace anymore! I ordered my NRG damper already, not sure how they set up but I will figure it out. I also bought GSR sway bar and as soon as I buy SI endlinks it should be good to go... not sure if I need different lca's or not but I guess I will find out.
I am currently looking for a beefy frotn strut bar but I haven't had any luck yet!
I think I might just buy a type R one or make one!

Ok....seeing it as I'm pretty low....I'm not getting the H-brace..............Do strut bars really do anything?

I mean I know there suppose to "stiffin" up your body and make you have less rolll........but ......are they worth it?

I was planning on getting the passwordjdm front and rear strut bar....but i think I may just spend the money elsewhere.

Thanks for the reviews BlackHope. Yeah tracks are something I don't know much about so I just keep it on the streets. Hehe. But I'm fairly happy with my purchases. So hopefully they treat me well. I got the rear lip from a member on here, Spray_DatB16 I believe.
