something new since im too poor to buy wheels

was cleaning my hubcaps and rotating my tires the other day when i decided I was going to repaint them silver to cover up the paint chips and other flaws... then i thought "whats stopping me from painting them black or gunmetal or something else?" so i went to the store and bought some black paint made for plastic and went to work...

I'm not quite sure i like it, but I bought a can of silver paint when i was at the store also so i can just repaint them silver if i decide i dont like it. but its different, needs some time, i just put them on like 10 minutes ago.

anyway here's the pics.

BTW, these are TEMPORARY until I get some bronze rota c8s, should be in the next few weeks for the wheels, then tires shortly after that. I was just sick of being 1 of like 16 civic coupes at school with the silver hubs, so I wanted to change it up a bit.

What do you guys think?

u should of put some gloss on it to make it shine but its look good

actually i was going for a flat black, id prefer it be flatter than it is, but not much i can do about it...

you should paint your stealies too to match, the rust through the holes looks shitty, other then that, its ghetto fab I'd do the same in your situation hehe

yeah that and i should have put some tire shine on before taking the pics. I just put some on and it looks a lot better cuz the black hubs dont totally stand out against the notsoblack tires... now they're both black

i loved my gunmetal hubcaps more than i did my fat fives.

i could drive around, not worry about hitting any curbs... i had mad jdm camber y0!! and i wasnt worried about wrecking overpriced 15" tires.

and you posted in my thread about how it makes no sense to you... it doesnt have to make sense to you... I wanted to share my new thing, regardless of whether you want to see it. you didnt have to look at the post, and you definately didnt have to reply to it...
