Sony's Rep?

Recently, from some audio dealerships, I have heard that Sony's quality control has gone upin the past year. Things dont blow up as much anymore. Is this true? Would you support this claim, or are their products still defective.

even if the quality control went up, their products are sub-par.

Sony's Aiwa line is at least as good, better looking, and generally cheaper.

I would never run sony anything in my car.

My boss has some sony amps bridged on his speakers though and they work pretty well for the price....

but I still wouldn't buy sony s**t.

the system i have sitting at home is gonna kick ass.... it's a mix of JL, Soundstream, and Alpine

I have an uncle that had a set of old school Sonys that lasted him forever. Old school, though.

I wouldn't use Sony, if they're improving, they're still not getting to the place where they're called "quality"..
