I ripped out the back seats and rear carpet and as expected, it is DEAFENING driving at highway speeds. I thought about line-x but he wants $300. I also thought about using some rattle-can rubberized undercoating. Anyone have any better ideas?

sound proofing it is going to be costly.

I got a gallon of Elemental Designs E-DeadV3 for $35 because the can was dented, call them and see if they have anymore dented up cans of the s**t.

You can always use accoustic egg crate foam. :what:

It's fairly cheap, easy to cut to fit, you can bed down females with exhibitionist tendancies in the back of your car, and you can remove it for the racetrack.

On the downside, it's ghetto-er than a mug.

ok the only good idea was using the stuff from edead. Saying that you need to use some kind of sounde deadening material such as edead, second skin, raamat, or dynamat. I have about 50lbs of edead in my hatch floor and doors and it def made a large difference.

Go to www.secondskinaudio.com and go to the forums and they can help greatly.

Its not going ot be real cheap but it will work.
