Okay I’m at the final stages just have one last question and I did a search and came up with zero input.

What spark plugs do you boost guys use on your engines?

I have a stock b16a2 just trying to figure out what plugs to use and I’m good to go. Thanks

I know one step colder is general rule of thumb but its not correct. By reading your plugs you will be able to tell which ones you should be using.

I was running #7's but after reading them I saw they were too hot and now I run #9's.

running too hot on the 7s? how much power are you making? because ive made well over 500whp on 7's.

if i were to guess you are fouling out those 9's fairly often.

I'm not making much power but after looking at the plugs, timing mark on the ground strap was right near the base of the plug and the heat rings were 6-8 threads up from the base. With the 9's in, timing mark on the ground strap is a little lower than I would like it (half way between the center and end of the ground strap) and the heat ring doesn't reach the first thread. So by that, it seems 8's will be perfect for me.

Even with the 9's though, the car runs great. Been in there for about 2 months now with no issues and I was able to pick up some extra ponies.
