speaker brackets improve sound?

hey..does speaker bracket improve sound? or anyhting? or are they just to hold the speakers? cuz someone told me..it also keeps the air in or somethign so when the bass kicks? some s**t lke that?

if ur shyt is loose then tighten it or sumthing..it can jus vibrate if ur brackets off...
it does NOT increase sound...
by improving they probably meant less vibration...
