So is it the Top Mount Depth i need to take into consideration? or the bottom mount depth? or just the mount depth! cause there are so many different measurements!

i got pioneers in mine and because the magnet was so big it didnt fit,so i cut the plastic peice out. I got like 3 tweeters built into it to and i dont have a problem, so just worry bout the magnet in the back.

You need 6 1/2's for the front in an eg. Mine are 6.5 inch and fit perfect into the plastic collar after I cut the backs off to correct for the proper depth. My 2 cents: Soundproof the hell out of your door and it will make a drastic improvement in sound quality. (I used eDead v1 but peel and seal will work just as well).

Your better off modifying the plastic collar than trying to find a speaker that will fit. It's easy, just use a dremel with a cutoff disc or a grinder and cut the back off the plastic collar. While your at it I would make a cover for the back of the speaker to keep it protected from water. (It get's very wet in the door panel after washing your car or a rain fall) You'll need to make something like this below:

Don't cover the whole speaker, it needs room to breathe.
