speaker problem

I have 4 speakers in my car. the front drivers side one works and the rear passenger side one works.

The rear drivers side doesnt work at all. and the front passenger side works but is VERY VERY quiet.

i've replaced the wire going to the ones that dont work. and i've used known working speakers in their spots to test. any other ideas? i've been switching between two OEM acura head units. neither of which i am sure works flawlessly.

anybody heard of anything like this, or have any ideas?

maybe you just need a new aftermarket headunit...

did you replace the entire length of wiring..?

well i replaced from 2" back from each side of the harness. meaning i used two inches of each side of the existing harness. that way i had all the clips and connectors. i didn't re-pin anything.

i don't like aftermarket head units. but u think the head unit is to blame? i'll look for a known working OEM unit...
