Hey,
So a few months ago I was driving along minding my own business listening to music when I suddenly hit a bump. Just an average bump, nothing significant. But...my rear speakers just stopped playing and never came back to life. So, I finally decided to look into it while replacing all the speakers with new Sony's. The driver side rear speaker plays. However, the passenger side rear speaker does not. I checked to make sure it wasn't a faulty speaker. It's the wiring somewhere. My head unit wiring is fine, I checked for continuity. So, what I am planning on doing is just cutting the wires and rewire it myself instead of trying to find the open wire. Does anyone know if there are resistors or inductors in the circuit or do the wires just go straight from head unit to speakers?
