speakers cut off..

I got a good pioneer radio not to long ago and its been working ever since,thats no the problem. i bought alpine door speakers and they are the best kind and i got them last week,had them put in and i was wandering why when i drive and hit little bumps the speakers cut off but not the radio? i have my music up fairly loud but did they bust? the volume notch goes all the way to i think 55 and i drive with 45. but now when i get to even 30 they cut off but the radio is still on. bugs the hell out of me. please let me know guys, thanks. (95 civic dx)

grounding out somewhere. pull the speakers back out and make sure none of the terminals or connections are touching metal, or can touch metal in a bump.

yeah. when its speakers, connection is king, they could be the best speaker in the world, but if the connections are bad or not sufficient, then they will sound like crap or do what is happening to you. how did you connect them?

its fixed,my rear speaker was not screwed in and the outlets were touching the metal of my trunk haha and it was doing it. all fixed now. thanks guys.
