speed limiter removal help

where is the speed limiter in a 2000 civic EX, and how would i remove it?

The top speed in the car is 120MPh with the limiter.

in the ecu.... you will need a new ecu for that.

The top speed on your car isn't 120.. just b/c you get a new chip will not make the car's speedometer go higher.. and actually the speedo goes to 130 :p

But I think that manuals top out at like 117, and auto's at like 107 or around...

lol I've been 110 in my D15b7 95 Sedan baby!!.. of course thats not corrected so its probably like 98mph.. at least thats what the ticket said

um... i have an auto and it does not top out at 107... mine tops out at 120mph.

yup I agree ^^ my top speed is unknown since I replaced the computer and the chip. But the fastest I gone since then was 120

unlike so cal the rest of america has highways that arent crowded and you can hit over 30 mph on em, and hit triple digits pretty safely late at night ... amazing concept isnt it?

haha you civic drivers are all crazy with your speeding. ive only hit 125 in my car, then my goddamn limiter came into play.

You guys are lucky then. I live in L.A. where traffic is present almost all the time. IT SUCKS! Oh.... and my avatar is a pic of a 96 Accord. Not my ride but it's sweet. You got to admit that. I myself own a Crx and a 94 Accord with dreams like many of you guys here.
