speedo problem

ever since my b18c swap into my 97 civic, my speedo and odometor have not worked. all other lights and gauges work. i originally thought it was the vehicle speed sensor that was bad but i was told vtec would not hit and i would throw a cel, im not throwing a cel and vtec still hits at 6k. i have tried using a friends cluster and tried their ecu and the problem is still there. so if someone has the cluster and ecu pinouts, could you please post them up. or if there is something else i am overlooking please let me know. thanks

p.s im using the rywire mil spec harness if that changes anything

Sounds like a bad wire between the VSS and speedo.

anyone know if the wire runs directly to the speedo from the vss? what year civic/ integra would contain a replacement vss for a 96 spec itr?

try getting a new speed sensor. i know thats happend on my daily driver and thats what fixed it

i would try that but i need to know what speed sensor i can use cause there are different ones. i cant really stop at honda and pick one up for a 96 jdm itr
