okay, so when i got the car, the MPH was about 15mph slower than actual speed. after about a week of driving the speedo stopped working. i bought a new VSS and put it in. it didn't work. i did some tests from the service manual. i have 12v on the white and blue wire i think it was, and i have continuity on the ground wire. i opened up the speedo and checked for continuity between the whi/blu wire in the back of the cluster and also down on the vss and i have continutiy. i bought a DX cluster (no tach) and i have a LX one (with tach) and i tried the DX cluster and it didnt work. i then swapped speedo's on the clusters and it still didnt work. i read that Service Bulletin from Honda about the harness rubbing on the intake manifold bracket and i electrical taped it after checking that there were no shorts. til this day my speedo does not work. any suggestions out there? or maybe i did the wrong testing. if someone could do a quick run through of test that could maybe pin point my prob? thanks in advanced!
