Well, I need more power. Im probably getting the ZEX Dry shot kit. Turbos to much of a pain in the ass and too much money. Everyone knows i just have a SOHC so im gonna be pretty much a sleeper =).
Im probably going to be running a 35 shot at first then move up.
Anything you would recommend besides, SparkPlugs, Fuel stuff, Header ect??

Full intake, exhuast and ignition. A 35 shot is a good start but your gonna bump that up quickly.

Isent A dry shot better on a basically stock engine rather then a wet shot?

wet shot on stock engine = big boom

go inside the block, and think opposite. get LOW compression pistons, upgrade the cam, etc...bulletproof the motor as much as possible, then drop a big nitrous bomb on it....

Im not touching the internals. I think im going with Dry Shot on a low shot.

i have really no kind of expierience with nitrous but if you are going to go with a kit with a small shot, and not use any kind of tuning device (chipped ecu etc) wouldnt a wet shot be better so that you dont lean out that farthest cylinder like you talked about? Im wanting to put nitrous on mine soon but i want to get the facts straight first, planning on running like a 50 shot on mine and i figured i would do a wet kit but if dry is gonna be better ill look for that instead

no on a low shot nitrous distribution is not such a critical affair.. as long as you tap the intake pipe far away from the throttle body and follow all of the other safegaurds that have been discussed.. a 50 shot dry is fine.. the extra fuel is delivered via the fuel system..

sweet, then i would like to take the advice of the only person i know to put 1000+lbs of nitrous through his motor and its still running strong

as far as i know 24-7 has had some great results as well.. and what they say about a wet kit IS true when you get into higher horse power applications.. but on a relatively stock car.. with a relatively small shot 35 50 even 70 you should be fine with a dry kit.. go past 70 and then a wet kit will IMO start to benifit..

you need to keep in mind the single most important thing about nitrous or ANY power adder.. that first pull COULD be the last..ANYTHING could happen and you COULD blow the motor.. keep that in mind when going to a more serious power adder (any forced induction.. serious N/A builds.. etc..)

but yeah ive filled that 10lb bottle WELL OVER a hundred times.. 5+ years of spraying... 1000+ lbs of nitrous.. daily driver.. NO issues.. except for the couple oif trannys i blew up..

I haven't used a wet kit in almost four years. I only use direct port systems now. For me nitrous is like cocaine. You start with alittle then you need just a bit more, and more and more...etc. Then you can't live without it.

i agree.. in EVERY way.. even the way that too much will kill you.. well in this case.. your motor.. lol.
direct port is basicly a wet kit for each cylinder... but im sure even you would agree that stock car.. 50 shot.. dry is fine.. and if you dont agree.. then we will agree to disagree.. lol

Brian O'Connor: Hey, Jimmy! We got any half-empty bottles of nitrous laying around?
Jimmy: Sure, but I already loaded you with spray.
Brian O'Connor: I'm thinking we may need it for something else. 'Cause our cars may get a little crowded.

The most im going to run on my motor would probably a 55, but i think im going to keep it at 35 for awhile if i do buy the system. I really really dont want to f**k up anything, you think a 35 can cause any damage?

if you hook it up wrong and get ONLY nitrous and no additional fuel.. i think a 35 shot is enough to do some damage... ANY power adder can damage so you just have to be carefull.. i think that in all honesty just about any well maintained honda motor could take a 35 shot for the next ten years...=)
