Spun bearing- rebuild questions

I spun a rod bearing up from low oil, no real doubt on that d16y7 built block and z6 heads. My pistons and block itself should be fine. I knew right when it happened and killed the power.

Should be a crank and rod replacement then correct?

Here are my questions:
1. Check my attachments, what crank/ rods where should I get it
2. I need to pull the whole engine for this correct?
3. What else am I missing on this, I feel like it can't possibly be as "plug and play" as it seems.

well, have the main and rod journals checked out and go from there..

If they are OK, then you only need bearings.

Gotcha, this is still a pull the whole engine type deal though? Seemed like this issue would be a lot more to deal with but its actually not looking to be too bad. Anyone else been through this?

Well you cant pull the crank while the engine is in the car..

then you can see if walls or pistons are scored..

Neighbor does for sure. I might just save this thing. haha

Can spinning a bearing damage all the other internals though?
