Sputters on Acceleration, sometimes

A few months ago I got a code for a failed 02 sensor. I replaced the upstream sensor. Shortly after replacement the car started sputtering in 2 or 3 gear under load. I did a complete tune up, new coil, cap, rotor, wires, fuel filter. The problem will go away for a week or so and then start up again, go away and come back. When I have the problem of sputtering and shut the car off it will not start again until it cools down.
Runs fine on idle. No codes are present. Fuel pressure is good. Timing belt has been replaced.

First of all, please state your Civic trim line, mileage, how long you've owned it, and any other potentially pertinent information.

Have you inspected the fuel injectors? Have you considered a fuel system cleaning? If not, I suggest buying a Techron 20-gallon treatment bottle & refill half a tankful then drive it. If that doesnt fix the issue, then perhaps the fuel injectors are clogged and need servicing. In which case, I'd suggest OsideTiger.com.
