stand alone navi units??

Are we talking a stand alone like a Tom Tom

Or do you already have a monitor and you are looking at adding a nav system

the only affordable stand alone unit navi i can think of is pioneer 80dvd.. cant think of the exact model but if u do a seach on it u'll probably find it. it runs for about 400-500 on ebay. it was release last year i was looking into it but never end up buying it. other brands i seen run $1k and up.

no plm. i was going to get the pioneer but i ran out of places to mount things. my center double din is already used and the bottom where the cup holder is already used. there can be creative places u can put it. but i always end up spending my money on other stuff and i lost interest in getting a navi in my car.

i'm in the same boat w/ mounting places, i think it may be mounted in the trunk in a fabed holder if i do it, i'm sure i'll prob lose interest by the time i would get the money for it, after all its about the same as an intercooler
