Ok im having a problem with my car.. it seems when im going more than 50mph and i stop to brake. The steering wheel starts to shake really bad. Would it be the lower control arm or the brakes but it shakes on the left driver side. Any help will do?

My guess would be your rotor is grooved. Take off your tire and rub your hands on the front and back of the rotor and make sure it is perfectly smooth. Good luck.

i had the same problem with my 92 civic. my problem was the rims though. my rims had been cracked and welded back together b4 i bought the car. u might want to check out ur rims to see if that may be the problem.

i know its not the rim cause i had bought a new steely for my car when i hit a hole and it broke. Someone said it might be the control arm or something like that because when i turn left the left side starts to pop.

Maybe your tires are unbalanced, and you need to balance your tires.

Yeah, i bet your control arm could be messed up if you nailed a pothole hard enough to brake a rim.

yeah i checked it out and i found out its the whole axle. ima get my tires balanced to see if i can get them running smooth and get new brake rotors and pads

I have slotted rotors and it does the same thing but only under heavy braking
