Stereo not working

Ok yesterday the stereo stopped working out of the blues. Have a kenwood something. The thing is that it does accept and ejects cd's. Just doesn't want to power on.

I absolutely did not fiddle with anything!

What can be the prob?

What brand is it? I know alpine had problems with the 2005 models if its an alpine.

Cd players have backup power even after the fuse blows... so that's why it will accept cd's after it has no power

Meh, I meant that it doesnt have power to play a cd/turn on, but it does accept cd's and reject them.

Could be a blown acc. fuse, your cd player took a s**t on you, or your wiring got f**ked somewhere. You got a warranty on it? lol.
