I installed my own system in my 92 lx with a few friends and it worked great for a while. But now wheniver i have it turned up even semi loud and the bass hits, it will like shut itself off and come back on. The head stays on and the speakers stil work, and the light on my amp indicating that it is turned on willl flash a little. Also, i have a Kenwood 800 amp and 2 kenwood 10" tornado subs. Thanks in advance

bad ground or shitty fuse. all my system troubles can be traced back to that. also just check the connections of all your wires, you may have one thats messed up.

Sounds like your not using a big enough gauge power cable. If your amp is capable of putting out more than 500 watts MAX, then you should be using 4 gauge power cable. What happens is that when the bass hits the amp uses more power. If your using cable too small it won't pass the power fast enough from battery to amp. Lehmans terms - not enough power to amp with smaller cable. Also if you use a 1 farad cap. it will keep your headlights from diming when the bass hits.

Yeah, this is a major possibility, check your ground first though, both occurances would most likely give you the same result. A loose ground is a lack of power, just on the other end of it

I use to have the same problem and I know how you feel because I was feeling like s**t when that use to happen, is nothing that has to do with your radio or your amp, I check everywhere and didn't find anything and I was like crazy for more than 5 months. but last week I deside to change my battery and now everything is ok, how old is your battery ??, when was the last time that you have it check???
well anyways you can also fix the problem with a 1 farad cap (100 to 180 bucks) but is way more expensive than a battery (40.00 bucks).and anyways I also recomend you to use a cap it will help you a lot and your battery will last longer.
