still cruise and whine problem

When setting cruise it will vary itself 5 to 8 mph different from what i set it at. Also you can deceal and after a minute or two you are going just as fast again. Takes awhile for it to kick in too.
Do i need a new modual?

Any help would be great.

Also have a whine nose going down the hwy at times. I can push in the clutch and it will go away. Very annoying, someone mentioned aftermarket radio but im all stock. It doesnt do it all the time, im leaking mtf would this being low cause this? waiting on a new oem seal to fix the leak.

The whining is the clutch throw out bearing attached to the shift fork, you have to remove the tranny to replace it.

As for the cruise control, make sure all the vacuum lines are intact, and that everything visually is good. The fact that the cruise control works but fluctuates makes me think vacuum leak in the lines.

Generally, if it makes a noise and you push the pedal in and the noise goes away its input shaft bearing. If it doesn't make the noise UNTIL the pedal is pushed in then it is the throw out bearing.

Think about it...the throw out bearing isn't being used unless the pedal is pushed as it just sits there waiting.
