sup everybody, i've had my 98 ex civic for about 3 years now, it came with 25,000 miles, and now has 62,000 miles. i finally came around to stacking enough money to put into my car, and i just wanted to hear everyones thoughts to make this stock ex civic into a sexy/beastly car. Im looking to spend no more then 3-4 grand, being that its a civic, i do believe parts are rather cheap. some thoughts i had in mind, was to put in a cold air intake, full exhaust system, rims, possibly lower the suspensions even more, and the lite body kit i have on it should do me fine as it is. if anyone can recommend really good intakes/exhaust systems/rims for a reasonable price, or ANY OTHER mods i can do that will benefit my car for a cheap amount of money....PLEASE SHARE!

These are the rims i would prefer to have on my civic, something that looks along the lines of these....

But i do know those are very expensive, if anyone knows of rims that look very similar or along the same features as those, please post!

are those oem front and rear lips???
i think so! he has no idea the uber rare parts on his car

dude, all your civic needs is a fresh coat of paint (and fix the hole in the front lip) and get some OEM wheels, a slight drop, and you'll be good to go! an engine bay cleaning wouldnt hurt either

$4k can get you pretty far with a civic, but spending a lot of cash on a stock EX motor is mostly a waste unless you spend it on turbo components.

if i had your car this would be my schedule:
1) fix hole in front lip - DIY
2) clean engine bay thoroughly - DIY
3) upgrade to 15x6.5" wheels with some 195/50 tires - $750-850
4) 2" lowering kit, probably skunk2 or tein - $600-800
5) 99-00 si rear sway bar and front strut bar - $200
6) 2.5" apexi WS2 exhaust - $500
7) homemade turbo kit, custom manifold and 2.5" downpipe, cat delete. ~200-220whp after tuning - $1500-1800
8) possible respray whole car (maybe color change to milano red, or champ white) - $800
9) recaro bucket seats - anywhere from $250-$1000
10) post on CC for july ride of the month - PRICELE$$

yea i realize it might take you out of budget, but im assuming you'll have some sort of income regularly coming in

P.S.
dont sell the lips (aka body kit). you will regret it one day when you realize how lucky you are to have them. those arent some flemsy aftermarket fiberglass pieces, rather OEM honda accessories
